Experience

The heart of my educational experiences is in Math and Psychology. I have recently earned my master's degree in Quantitative Psychology, which means that I have a strong education in Behavioral Sciences, Research Methods, and Statistics. I have experience in teaching people of a variety of ages. I have worked with six year old beginner readers, middle school students preparing for exams, grad students in advanced statistics courses, and many types of students in between. I enjoy working with all ages of students because I have found that each group presents its own challenges and gives its own rewards. While my go-to teaching style typically involves visual aids and hands-on practice, I am able to adapt my style to meet each student's needs. My goal as a tutor is to provide my students with their best opportunity to reach success in their studies. I do this by providing the tools and resources that each student needs to excel. I look forward to hearing from you and helping you to discover your best learning style. I have attended Saint Mary's College of Maryland and James Madison University. Some of my interests are crafting, enjoying nature, hiking, yoga, and sports (Go O's!).
